The apartment faces south on 35th Street, NOT on Speedway (main house is on the northwest corner of 35th/Speedway. Pull int the carport under the apartment when you arrive. This is YOUR parking spot for your stay.

Arrival:
Please give us a general time of day you anticipate arriving. If you are leaving the airport, please call or text message me, my cell phone is 512-560-7711, then I can be on the alert for your arrival, greet you, show you how the electronic keypad works, assist you into the apartment, sign the Rental Agreement (READ link here), oriented, and turn you loose. All of which takes about five minutes. Don't forget to bring a government issued photo ID and your credit card (if this was requested).
We live in the historic 1925 yellow house on the northwest corner of 35th Street & Speedway, 3500 Speedway. The apartment is just behind it off W. 35th. It is all yellow and white like the old house, except it is 80 years newer, 3500-B Speedway, numbers are on the column. If you arrive in the night, there are lights on the columns on either side of the driveway. I'll also leave the apartment lights illuminated to make it easy to find if you arrive in the evening.
Pull into the carport underneath the apartment off of 35th Street. Remember, the apartment faces 35th Street, not Speedway. It is behind our historic home. This is where you will park during your stay. The carport lights will automatically illuminate as well as the light above the entry to the apartment. The apartment door is right next to the carport
Note: in the summer and fall we have a sun shade (blue) over the driveway. If your vehicle is taller than 7 feet, please tell me and I will supply you with a parking hang tag (Residential Parking Permit) to park on the street.
TAXI from the austin airport: The cost should be about $35-5- without tip.
It is about 20 minutes from the airport, depending on traffic. Ask to be taken to 3500 Speedway, north of the University of Texas.
